Sailor Moon x Miracle Romance Jewel Rouge Review

Although I personally don't use a lot of cosmetics, I love collecting everything from Premium Bandai's Miracle Romance line. In fact, I probably own every single product they produced. The latest items they released are the Sailor Moon Jewel Rouges - lipsticks inspired by Princess Serenity and Black Lady's outfits.

The dresses are pretty and have some nice details on them. Each version comes with a different shade of lipstick color. Princess Serenity is brighter in comparion to the darker shade of Black Lady. The dress acts as a cap for the lipstick, and can stand on it's own after you take out the applicator. The lipstick itself isn't very big. The best comparion I can come up with is that it's about the size of a deluxe sample lipstick from Sephora. It doesn't bother me since I bought these simply for collection purpose.

I do want to mention that I think Black Lady's dress looks more like Queen Beryl. This is probably because Queen Beryl's dress is purple, and I've just gotten very used to it. I know purple is sometimes used as a highlight color against black background, but it could be misleading for this instance.

My verdict: I think this is one of the more creative lipsticks from the Miracle Romance line. As much as I love everything else, I own way too many Sailor Moon brooches, compacts, rods and sticks. Princess Serenity is my favorite of the two. I got the Black Lady version simply because I do not own a whole lot of Black Lady merchandise. As I mentioned earlier, the lipstick isn't very big. If you plan on using it, just keep that in mind. Otherwise, I think they make cute collectibles.

This is one of the few items I don't need to purchase from Japan. YesStyle carries the Miracle Romance line, so you can buy them from here. You can also use the influencer code SAILORMOON to receive additional discount during checkout.
