Sailor Moon popup shops are literally popping up everywhere in Asia: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and most recently, in Beijing. Here are some of the goods I purchased.
Clear Files: I have a huge collection of Sailor Moon & Sailor Moon Crystal clear files. These two clear files from Beijing are among my favorites. The covers are holographic, and they both have an extra zippered pocket. Most of the clear files I own are single layered.
Neo Queen Serenity Limited Edition Pin: Only 1,000 of these pins were produced to commemorate the Beijing Popup Shop. It's absolutely beautiful in person. This pin is also the largest Sailor Moon pin I own. The entire frame and pin measures 20 x 20 cm (just about 8 inches).
Acrylic Stand & Coasters: The acrylic stand was also previously available at the Sailor Moon Taiwan Popup Shop. I missed it, so I was glad it showed up at the Beijing store. It isn't opened, but once assembled, it has multiple layers and stand on it's own. The coasters are made of silicone, or some type of rubber material. I love the silhouette designs.
My verdict: I've purchased select merchandise from every popup shop, and noticed that some of the goods do overlap. Most of the items I purchased from the Beijing Popup Shop are exclusive to the location, only the acrylic stand was available in Taiwan before. My favorite item is the limited edition pin, and I love that they included a frame. It is rather expensive (I paid $60), but it's a limited release so I can live with the price.
